Russ:
Russ was Chappie's friend. Everyday the would go to Hector the Hispanic
to buy weed and pretty much call it a day. Russ is an imature person with no backbone in him. He is a person that cant be
changed unless he wants to change himself. As Chappie started to change his identity to Bone, they started drifting apart.
In the end Bone leaves Chappie in the past as well as his old compadre, Russ. Who by the way still hasn't changed for the
better. He also shared an apartment with Bruce of Adirondack Iron.
Willie the Cat:
Willie the Cat is Bone's cat. Willie is Bone's only true friend.
There was a time when bone almost shot Willie,but the gun was on safety and it was then he realized what he was doing. As
the novel progresses, Bone comes back home from his adventures abroad to find out something terrible happened to Willie. To
know that detail, your just going to have to read the book.
Chappie's Mother:
Chappie's mother is a very weak and obsessed woman. She would rather
have an abusive man with her than caring and loving her son. There is a point in the book were Chappie made her choose between
her alcoholic, perverted and abusive husband or her own flesh and blood son. She chose her husband. This was a huge turning
point for Chappie because it was at this point he realized he had nothing left to care for in Au Sable and nothing in Au Sable
cared about him. She has joined an AA to help her husband work out his alcoholic addiction.

Buster Brown:
Buster Brown is a porn artist that abuses children and places them
in his "special" movies. He firast appers to Bone in the mall in Bone's neighborhood. Bone also see a kid who is Buster's
protege Froggy the Gremlin (a.k.a. Rose). Buster buy Bone food as he talks about all the famous people he knows and intriuging
information, which are of course lies. Bone knowing what he was getting into agrees to do screen shots with him. However as
they leave, something spooks Bone and he runs off.
He meets Buster and Froggy again, their second encounter Bone steals all Buster's money and escapes
with Froggy.
Hector the Hispanic:
Hector the Hispanic has a very small role in this novel. He basically
is the drug dealer Bone and Russ get thier weed from. He also uses Bone and Russ to sell weed to the locals of Au Sable.
Ken-Bone's Stepfather:
Ken is Bone's stepfather. He is Canadian and is married to Bone's
mom. When Bone was younger he was sexually abused by ken on numerous occasions. However, Bone tried to tell his mom, but she
did not believe him. Ken hits on Bone a lot and is an alcoholic. He lives in the trailer with Bone's mom in Au Sable. He has
a briefcase with a shotgun and attachable scope in it. It somehow linked to Ken's past.
